Swingin' Luau with the Silver Tones Swing Band

Aloha! Come out and join the Silver Tones Swing Band, Wendy Marie, Gene Bates, and the Silver Belles vocal trio on Sunday, August 15, as we take you to the tropics with hot big band swing! The Silver Tones will be performing at a brand-new venue, the Vint Hill Community Center, which features a huge dance-floor with plenty of room to swing (or hula!). The band will be playing two longs set that afternoon, and there will be audience seating for those who wish to just enjoy the music and watch the dancing. Don your favorite Hawaiian shirt, flower leis, shorts, flip-flops, and beach attire, and join us for a fun afternoon of great music with the 14-piece Silver Tones Swing Band and vocalists. Coconuts and grass skirts are also welcome! There will be a limbo contest at intermission with a prize for the winner. Light refreshments and water/soda will be for sale at the Snack Shack. General admission is $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Seniors (65 and older) and students (with ID) are $10 at the door. Kids 5 and under are free.
