A singer/songwriter, saxophonist, a guitarist, and a bandleader, Ken has been described as a purveyor of restless midwestern sentimentality, who searches in his songs for the kinds of truth that’s often best found within oneself. His latest single, 2020's "Healing Heart", received acclaim for its positive message during the pandemic, was added to playlists across the country, and received a Wammie nomination. Ken performs as a solo acoustic singer-songwriter or with his full bands Riverside Lights, and Cross Kentucky. A mainstay for many years on the Virginia winery and brewery circuit, Ken stays busy, playing 200+ shows a year across the DC, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia region, the eastern seaboard, the midwest, and south.
