Learn to Skate Starting August 29th in Washington DC

This class is open to inline and roller skaters and covers the following skills: * Safety Equipment; how to fall safely/how not to fall. * Getting comfortable on your skates and basic skating stride. * How to handle outdoor terrain, control your speed and stop. We're an outdoor skate school providing classes in a variety of formats, from group lessons, to skate coaching to one on one instruction. Once you get comfortable on your skates, check out our Learn to Street Skate program to help you get comfortable skating the streets and start skating with an awesome skate club, the Washington Area Roadskaters (www.SkateDC.org). We also offer a series of classes to help prepare you for skating the wide variety of off-street trails in the metropolitan DC area.
