The Energy Masters program trains community volunteers in energy efficiency and water conservation techniques through a seven-session training program. After completing the training, volunteers make energy and water efficiency upgrades in affordable housing apartments in Arlington County or the City of Alexandria. No prior home maintenance or energy knowledge required. Language skills in Spanish or Amharic are a plus! Individuals who live in the D.C., Maryland, or Virginia area can apply. The final application deadline is August 31, 2021. We offer need-based waivers for the registration fee upon request.
