Washington Area Animal Adoption Group (WAAAG) Fall Dog Jog Animal Rescue Fundraiser

The Washington Area Animal Adoption Group (WAAAG) Fall Dog Jog animal-rescue fundraiser is set to return October 31, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Barrel Oak Winery in Delaplane, Va.\ \ The Fall Dog Jog is a 5K run and 1 Mile Run/Walk that serves as one of WAAAG’s key annual fundraisers, helping the Veteran founded, all-volunteer group give homes and loving care to dogs and cats in need. \ \ Registration is open at https://runsignup.com/Race/VA/Delaplane/WAAAGDogJog starting at $35 per entrant—kids under 8 and all dogs are free! Register by October 15 to get your official event t-shirt!\ \ WAAAG is not your typical animal-rescue organization. We focus on dogs and cats that are not likely to find homes elsewhere, such as through larger shelter programs. \ \ We give them love, time, patience and vet care to help them heal and prepare for their forever home—whatever they need to get their their “wag” back! Last year, we placed 19 dogs and 39 cats into safe and loving homes.\ \ Support our mission by coming out to Barrel Oak on October 31, 2021 and help us spread the love to dogs and cats that need us!
