The Virginia United Polo League offers a premier east coast destination for summer polo. Families and the public are invited to drive up field-side and tailgate with friends to spectate action-packed matches every Sunday from June 13th to September 5th. After a successful first season, the Virginia United Polo League returns this year featuring new fields and more polo. The Season will run from June to September with a warm up tournament that will take place during May. Great Meadow Polo Club in The Plains, Virginia, will be the new hosting club alongside Kingland Farm, Foxlease Polo and Beverly Equestrian. The Virginia United Polo League is organized by notable argentine players Tolito Fernández Ocampo, Marcos Bignoli and Juan Ghirlanda with the support of Bill Ballhaus, from Beverly Equestrian, and father of young polo player Will Ballhaus. Greenhill Stables, led by notable local enthusiast Rebekah Greenhill, will take part once again in 2021. The Season will start mid-May with arena practices and a warm up arena tournament. Open Leagues will take place every month while different 6, 8 and 12 goal tournaments. This year an arena tournament will take place in September.
