Southern Maryland Juried Art Show

Our Southern Maryland Juried Art Show features all the things you love about this area. The challenge for artists was to capture something of the essence, heritage, and spirit of Southern Maryland as visual art.\ Lynn Mehta, our juror, will be giving a talk at the reception explaining her choices of winning artwork. $700 in cash prizes will be given out at that time, with $400 as first prize. A reception will be held on September 19th from 1 - 4 pm. Join us for light refreshments, to see the art, to hear the talk and to meet the artists!\ \ Covid protocol requires our visitors, both vaccinated and unvaccinated, to wear face masks when in the building.\ \ MCAC is located in Smallwood State Park, Marbury, Maryland, 20658, 35 miles south of Washington, D.C. on Maryland Route 224 in Charles County.
